Tom Rodgers and Ben Ineson

Following up on the tragic news of the loss of two young riders, Tom Rodgers and Ben Ineson, the riding community is banding together to show their support to the families and many friends they leave behind. Sign the book of Condolence, donate to the memorial fund or take part in the memorial ride and 2 minutes of noise to celebrate their lives.
I'm sure by now you'll have heard the sad and tragic news of Ben Ineson and Tom Rodgers, who were involved in a fatal car accident earlier this month. A report on the accident is here.

This is desperately sad news and along with their family and friends, the riding community as a whole is saddened by the loss of these two talented riders.

Book of Condolence

If any one wants to pass on a message to Ben and Tom's parents, a Book of Condolence has been set up on All Terrain Cycles website at www.allterraincycles.co.uk/condolence.html.

These messages will be printed and bound into a book so the guys parents can get a chance to read these amazing tributes from all round the world for two very cool guys.

Memorial Fund

A memorial fund has also been started to honour their memory, with the intention to sponsor future events and up and coming riders.

Donations can be made on line at https://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/donations.html.

Memorial Ride

In addition to the above, All Terrain are also holding a memorial bike ride on the 15th March:

All of us here at All Terrain are in deep shock about the passing of two of our team mates, they will be sadly missed. Having thought very hard about what we can do we have come up with the idea of having a memorial MTB ride around Tom and Ben's stomping ground in and around Settle where they lived and rode. We will also hold a minutes noise, in keeping with both their characters. We have set the date of Sunday the 15th of March.

The ride will be starting on the village green in Langcliffe at 12pm where we will hold 2 mins of noise to celebrate the life of Ben and Tom, then we will go on to do the ride which will be 12 - 15 miles mostly off road. Car parking will be available for those attending, camping facilities, bike wash etc. are also available at www.knightstainforth.fsnet.co.uk so you can book your spot if you are wanting to stay the night (fees apply). We are in the planning stages of making this a full weekend, with a BBQ, bands playing etc etc at the campsite in Stainforth on the Saturday night. More details will follow as soon as we get them.

Please pass on this info to all your friends so we can give them both a good send off, and make a event that everyone will remember.

For further info call the shop on 01274 588488 or 07939 157212 and ask to speak to Dale.
